UTILITY SERVICE ENTRANCE
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 SECTION INCLUDES
A. Arrangement with Utility Company for permanent electric service, including payment of Utility Company charges for service.

1.04 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
A. Utility Company: Nashville Electric Service.
B. System Characteristics: 120/240 volts, single phase, three wire, 60 Hertz.
1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Perform Work in accordance with Utility Company written requirements.
1.06 FIELD MEASUREMENTS
A. Verify that field measurements are as indicated.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.01 UTILITY METERS
A. Meters will be furnished by Utility Company.
2.02 UTILITY METER BASE
A. Furnish meter base.
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Verify conditions under provisions of Section 01039.
B. Verify that service is ready to be connected and energized.
3.02 PREPARATION
A. Make arrangements with Utility Company to obtain permanent electric service to the Project.
B. Coordinate location of Utility Company's facilities to ensure proper access is available.
3.03 INSTALLATION
A. If service is underground, install service entrance conduits in concrete envelope from Utility Company's terminal pole to building service entrance equipment.
