1.02 SUBMITTALS
A. Submit shop drawings as required by ANSI/IEEE C37.12 under provisions of Section 01300.
B. Submit product data under provisions of Section 01300.
C. Submit product data for components and accessories.
D. Submit manufacturer's installation instructions under provisions of Section 01300.
1.03 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE DATA
A. Submit manufacturer's operation data under provisions of Section 01700.
B. Include operating instructions for manually and electrically opening and closing circuit breakers.
C. Submit maintenance data under provisions of Section 01700.
D. Include maintenance instructions for cleaning methods, cleaning materials recommended, instructions for circuit breaker removal, replacement, testing and adjustment, and lubrication.
1.04 QUALIFICATIONS
A. Manufacturer: Company specializing in manufacturing the products specified in this Section with minimum five years documented experience.
1.05 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
A. Deliver products to site under provisions of Section 01600. 01610.
B. Store and protect products under provisions of Section 01600. 01620.
C. Accept products on site and verify damage.
D. Protect products from weather and moisture by covering with heavy plastic or canvas and by maintaining heating within enclosure in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
1.06 EXTRA MATERIALS
A. Submit maintenance materials under provisions of Section 01700.
B. Submit special tools required to operate and maintain switchgear.
C. Provide two sets of spare control circuit fuses under provisions of Section 01700. 01750.

2.02 CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCHGEAR
A. Circuit Breaker Switchgear: ANSI/IEEE 37.20; metal-clad switchgear assembly including draw-out vacuum type circuit breakers in free-standing cubicles. securely bolted together to form an integrated structure.

2.04 PROTECTIVE RELAYS AND INSTRUMENTS
A. Protective Relays: Provide relaying instruments as indicated on Drawings for each circuit breaker.
B. Current Transformers: ANSI/IEEE C37.20; 5 ampere secondary, wound bushing bar or window type, with single double secondary winding and secondary shorting device, primary/secondary ration as required shown on Drawings, burden consistent with connected metering and relay devices, 60 Hertz.
C. Potential Transformers: ANSI/IEEE C57.13; 120 volt single tapped double secondary, disconnecting type with integral fuse mountings, primary/secondary ratio as required shown on Drawings, burden and accuracy consistent with connected metering and relay devices, 60 Hertz.
D. Ammeters: Digital type, reading directly in amperes.
E. Voltmeters: ANSI C39.1; Digital type, reading directly in volts.
F. Watt-hour Meters and Wattmeters: ANSI/IEEE C12.1; digital type with totalizer.
2.05 ACCESSORIES
A. Surge Arrestors: Station Intermediate Distribution class, rated 2.3 kV; mount in incoming line compartment.
B. Incoming Cable Terminations: Clamp-type.
C. Space Heaters: For 120 volt external source, sized by switchgear manufacturer.
D. Key Interlocks: Kick-key arrangement as shown.
E. Circuit Breaker Lifting Device: Portable, floor supported, elevating carriage with a roller base, for movement of circuit breakers in and out of switchboard structure. Carriage and track on top of each switchboard with lifting device to serve draw-out circuit breakers in switchboard.
2.06 FABRICATION

D. Provide for incoming feeders in main cubicles.
2.07 FACTORY FINISHES
A. Clean surfaces before applying paint.
B. Apply corrosion-resisting primer to all surfaces.
C. Apply finish coat of manufacturer's standard baked enamel.
PART 3 - EXECUTION
04 EXAMINATION
A. Verify that surfaces are ready to receive work.
B. Verify field measurements are as shown on shop drawings. instructed by manufacturer.
C. Verify that required utilities are available, in proper location, and ready for use.
D. Beginning of installation means installer accepts conditions.
05 INSTALLATION
A. Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
06 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL
A. Field inspection and testing will be performed under provisions of Section 01400.
B. Visually inspect for physical damage, alignment, and fit.
C. Perform mechanical operator tests in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
D. Verify key interlock operation.
E. Test protective relays to determine pickup parameters on each operating element. Verify accuracy of timing setting for three points on time dial curve. Make final settings as directed. shown on Drawings.
F. Trip each circuit breaker by operating protective relays.
G. Measure minimum pick-up voltage of each trip and close coil.
H. Perform insulation resistance test on each phase to ground and from each phase to each other phase. Record results.
I. Perform insulation resistance test at 1000 volts DC on control wiring, except circuits connected to solid-state components.
J. Perform overpotential test to ANSI/IEEE C37.20.
K. Perform contact resistance test across each contact; report any contact resistance in excess of 500 microohms.
L. Test arc chutes for watts loss in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
