1.04 SUBMITTALS
A. Submit under provisions of Section 01300.
B. Product Data: Provide manufacturer's standard data for enclosures and cabinets.
C. Manufacturer's Instructions: Indicate application conditions and limitations of use stipulated by Product testing agency specified under Regulatory Requirements. Include instructions for storage, handling, protection, examination, preparation, installation, and starting of Product.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.01 MANUFACTURERS
A. Hoffman Engineering Company.
B. Substitutions: Under provisions of Section 01600.
2.02 HINGED COVER ENCLOSURES
A. Construction: NEMA 250 enclosure.
1. Interior Dry Locations: NEMA 12 steel.
2. Exterior, Wet or Damp Locations: NEMA 4X stainless steel.
3. Corrosive Locations: NEMA 4X non-metallic.
B. Covers: Continuous hinge, held closed by latch operable by key.
C. Provide interior metal panel for mounting terminal blocks and electrical components; finish with white enamel.
D. Enclosure Finish: Manufacturer's standard enamel.
2.03 TERMINAL BLOCKS
A. Manufacturers:
1. Phoenix Contact.
2. Substitutions: Under provisions of Section 01600.
B. Terminal Blocks: ANSI/NEMA ICS 4.
C. Power Terminals: Unit construction type with closed back and tubular pressure screw connectors, rated 600 volts, 25 amperes, 90 degrees C.
D. Signal and Control Terminals: Modular construction type, suitable for channel mounting, with screw connectors, rated 600 volts.
E. Provide ground bus terminal block, with each connector bonded to enclosure.
2.04 ACCESSORIES
A. Plastic Raceway:
1. Panduit Corp.
2. Substitutions: Under provisions of Section 01600.
B. Label terminals and provide directory.
1. Provide typed in identification of terminal connections.
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Verify conditions under provisions of Section 01039.
B. Verify that surfaces are ready to receive Work.
3.02 INSTALLATION
A. Install Products in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B. Install enclosures and boxes plumb. Anchor securely to wall and structural supports at each corner.
C. Install cabinet fronts plumb.
