1.04 SUBMITTALS
A. Submit under provisions of Section 01300.
B. Shop Drawings: Indicate layout, general assembly, components, dimensions, and anchor bolt setting.
C. Product Data: Provide manufacturer's literature.
D. Samples: Submit three 6-inch x 6-inch x 1/4-inch samples of polyester laminate to be used in the weirs, baffles, and supports, and three 6-inch long actual weirs with anchor bolt holes.
1.05 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING
A. Deliver to site, store, protect, and handle weirs and baffles under provisions of Section 01600.
B. Protect weirs from physical damage including effects of weather, water and construction debris.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.01 MANUFACTURERS
A. F. B. Leopold Company, Inc., Zelienople, PA.
B. Substitutions: Under provisions of Section 01600.
2.02 MATERIALS
A. Weir plates: Fabricated plate stock with cut edges or notches will not be acceptable.
B. Weir plates, butt plates, washers, and support brackets: Fiberglass reinforced polyester plastic, molded by the matched die method to produce uniform, smooth surfaces.
C. All surfaces: Smooth, resin rich, free of voids and porosity, without dry spots, crazes, or unreinforced areas; provide for increased corrosion resistance and weathering.
D. Laminate: Glass content of 30 plus or minus 2 percent using Type "E" glass with chrome or silane finish.
E. Powdered reinforcements: 47.5 plus or minus 1 percent of resin mixture.
F. Final laminate thickness: Plus or minus 10 percent of the nominal specified thickness.
G. Laminate: Ultra-violet inhibitors added to protect the laminate from deterioration from sunlight.
H. Color: Aqua.

PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.01 INSTALLATION
A. Install weirs in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B. Erect weirs to the elevations shown on the Drawings.
C. Install caulking compound between the contact surface of weirs and face of concrete to completely prevent flow of liquid up between these contact surfaces.
