PART 1 - GENERAL

1.04 SUBMITTALS
A. Submit under provisions of Section 01300.
B. Shop Drawings: Indicate configuration and dimension of components, adjacent construction, required clearances and tolerances, and other affected work.
C. Product Data: Provide data on shape of components, materials and finishes, anchor types and locations.
D. Samples: Submit two samples, 6 x 4 inch or larger in size illustrating component shape, finish, and color.
E. Manufacturer's Installation Instructions: Indicate special procedures and perimeter conditions requiring special attention.
1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE
Perform Work in accordance with SMACNA NRCA details.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.01 MANUFACTURERS
A. W. P. Hickman Company - Product Safeguard Gravel Stop System.
- Product Permasnap Coping System.
B. MM Systems Corporation - Product F-Series Fascia and Cant Dam.
- Product Snap - Lok Coping System.
C. Substitutions: Under provisions of Section 01600.
2.02 COMPONENTS
A. Gravel Stops: Extruded aluminum, .125 inch thick, shaped as indicated, including special supports spaced at 24 inches. Include cover plates to conceal and weather seal joints and attachment flanges.
B. Coping System: Formed aluminum .063 inch thick, shaped as indicated with allowance for expansion and contraction. Include concealed splice plates matching coping color and finish, coping chairs and seal strips for a complete weathertight installation.
2.03 ACCESSORIES
A. Sealant: Same as specified in Section 07900.
2.04 FINISHES
A. Aluminum: Kynar 500 finish - 20 year warrranty color to match spectra glaze II concrete masonry units "deep bermuda blue".
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Verify that deck, curbs, roof membrane, base flashing, and other items affecting work of this Section are in place and positioned correctly.
3.02 INSTALLATION
A. Install components in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B. Conform to SMACNA - Architectural Sheet Metal Manual NRCA - Waterproofing Manual Standards.
C. Coordinate installation of components of this section with installation of roofing membrane and base flashings.
D. Coordinate installation of sealants and roofing cement with work of this section to ensure water tightness.
E. Coordinate installation of flashing flanges into reglets.
