CONSTRUCTION PHOTOGRAPHS
PART 1 GENERAL

1.03 PHOTOGRAPHY
A. Provide photographs of site and construction throughout progress of work produced by an experienced commercial photographer, acceptable to Engineer.
B. Take photographs each month as follows:
1. Pre-Construction Conditions.
2. Site clearing.
3. Excavations.
4. Foundations.
5. Concrete, slabs, walls, etc.
6. Structural framing.
7. Enclosure of building.
8. Final completion.
9. Process, Mechanical, Electrical equipment.
10. Underground facilities.
1.04 PRINTS (NON-AERIAL)
A. Full color: four (4) prints of each view.
B. Film: 35mm.
C. Paper: Single weight, neutral black image tone, white base.
D. Finish: Matte.
E. Size: 8 x 10 inch and mount with binder tabs or other approved method.
F. Identify each print in the lower front right hand corner, name of Project, Contract No. phase orientation of view, date and time of view. Name and address of photographer, and photographer's numbered identification of exposure on back.
G. Provide four (4) 3-ring binders. Binders shall be furnished in sufficient quantity to hold all photography taken for the duration of the Contract. Each binder shall be engraved on the front and binder end with the project name, Contract No., Owner's name, Contract date, Engineer's name, and Contractor's name.
1.05 NEGATIVES
Deliver negatives monthly to Engineer with Project Record Documents. Catalog and index negatives in chronological sequence; provide typed table of contents.
1.06 VIEWS
A Provide non-aerial photographs from 5 views each month, until Completion.
Consult with Engineer for instructions on views required.
1.07 VIDEO RECORDING
A. Video taping is to be done by a professional Audio Video Firm.
B. Provide preconstruction video recording (VHS format) of Area prior to work starting at site.
C. Videotape to be labelled with date, name of work and location.
D. Video to be under the direction of the Engineer.
1.08 TECHNIQUE
A. Provide factual presentation.
B. Provide correct exposure and focus, high resolution and sharpness, maximum depth of field, and minimum distortion.
1.09 SUBMITTALS
A. Submit sample of photographs by proposed photographer for review by Engineer prior to the start of Work.
B. Deliver prints and negatives monthly with each Application for Payment.
