    PROGRESS SCHEDULES

   PART 1 - GENERAL

   1.1 Section Includes

   1.3 Format

   A. Prepare schedules as a horizontal bar chart with separate bar for each major portion of work.

   B. Sequence of Listings: The chronological order of the start of each item of work.

   C. Scale and Spacing: Horizontal time scale shall identify the first work day of each week with space for notations and revisions.

   D. Sheet Size: minimum 8 1/2 X 11 inches.

   E. Contractor may use an equivalent CPM format.

   1.4 Content

   A. Show complete sequence of construction by activity, with dates for beginning and completion of each element of construction.

   B. Identify each item by specification Section number.

   C. Identify work of separate stages and other logically grouped activities, such as:

   1. Site Clearing

   2. Sewer Cleaning

   3. Sewer Line Work (gravity & point repairs)

   4. Sewer Lining

   5. Service Renewals

   6. Manhole Rehabilitation

   7. Restoration

   8. Testing/Post TV

   D. Provide sub-schedules to define critical portions of the entire schedule.

   E. Show accumulated percentage of completion of each item, and total percentage, and monetary value (cash flow) of work completed as of the first day of each month.

   F. Provide separate schedule of submittal dates for shop drawings, product data, and samples and indicate date reviewed submittals will be required back from the Engineer. Indicate decision data for selection of finishes.

   1.5 Revisions to Schedule

   A. Indicate progress of each activity to date of submittal, and projected completion date of each activity.

   B. Identify activities modified since previous submittal, major changes in scope, and other identifiable changes.

   C. Provide a narrative report to define problem areas, anticipated delays, and impact on schedule. Report corrective action taken or recommended and its effect.

   1.6 Submittals

   A. Submit initial schedules within 10 days after date of Notice to Proceed. After review by Engineer submit revised schedules, modified to suit recommended changes within 7 days.

   B. Submit revised Progress Schedules with every Application for Payment.

   C. Submit the number of opaque reproductions which the Contractor wishes returned plus three (3) copies which will be retained by the Engineer.

   1.7 Distribution

   A. Distribute copies of reviewed schedules to project site files, subcontractors, suppliers and other concerned parties.

   B. Instruct recipients to promptly report, in writing, problems anticipated by projections indicated in schedules.

   1.8 Construction Photographs

   A. The Contractor shall provide construction photographs. All photographs shall be 35 mm film size, and shall indicate the date, location, and the job title. Two prints, 3"x 5" glossy, shall be furnished of each exposure.

   B. The Engineer will advise the Contractor of four locations from which exposures will be made.

   C. Exposures will be taken monthly.

   D. The required number of prints and negatives will be submitted to the Engineer with each Application for Payment.
