1.2 Quality Assurance
A. For products or workmanship specified by association, trade or Federal standards, comply with requirements of the standard, except when more rigid requirements are specified or are required by applicable codes.
B. Conform to reference standard by date of issue current on date of Contract Documents except when a specific publication date is specified.
C. Should specified reference standards conflict with Contract Documents request clarification from the Engineer before proceeding.
D. The contractual relationship of the parties to the contract shall not be altered from the Contract Documents by mention or inference otherwise in any reference document.
E. Unless otherwise noted, all shall be of current modifications, which have been in successful regular operation under comparable conditions for a period of at least two years. This time requirement however, does not apply to minor details or thoroughly demonstrated improvements in design or in material of construction. Work shall be done and completed in a thorough and workman like manner.
